Getting Started

Greetings to no person in particular. As of now, nobody really knows this exists. I am trying to start my little space on the web to showcase a little of what I can do. Please take a moment and look around, I will do my best to update this and show you some of my best works, as well as some that or OK. With a little help from you I will make the OKs awesome!

As soon as I figure out how to post slide shows on here I will be adding those on here. It will be of some of my latest jobs, with the peoples permission of course, showing what I did and what it was for. Please leave me comments on what you think was good and what may need improving, feedback is the best teacher.

For those of you who do not know me, I am a semi-pro photographer, what does that mean? I want to do it full time but I have not yet made the transition. I am working on building up a list of clients and that takes time. In the mean time I work in retail sales and that is ok, but I do not have a passion for that. I believe you have to follow your passion and if you work hard your passions can become a way to reach your dreams.

My inner child I believe is an artist, just not a good one. He comes out to paint every now and then, but it is nothing to hang on the wall. The inner child has been seeking a way to express himself with art. In college he tried painting and sculpting, but with no success. Then one day he picked up a camera and nothing was the same!! He found a way to express himself and it was good!

So enough of me talking in the third person! I did find a way to express myself and I really liked it. Now every now and then I will post so of my early stuff on here and let you see the progression I have made, I did get "lucky" in some of my pictures, that is the best way to describe it. I had little training and knew a little of the fundamentals but I did take some good pictures.

Now is different. I try to see the picture before I take it. I look down the road past the taking of the pictures, past the post production work to see what is hanging on the wall. When I see that then I know what I need to do to create it. That is what all the schooling and educations has helped me do.

Well thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy my work. I look forward to hearing from you and maybe one day to work with you.
